✏️ Brain Booster

In a world obsessed with shiny things, let's flip the script on what we consider gifts.

My customer was headed to Vermont. We have a great relationship. I wanted to do something thoughtful that didn't take much physical work.

Here's how ChatGPT helped me in developing a travel itinerary that I shared with him, that strengthened our relationship:

🤓 Post-Sale Breakdown

Reciprocation doesn't always require material gifts; it's about recognizing the effort behind the act of giving. Whether it's a heartfelt thank you note or a favor in return, reciprocation can take various forms.

Here’s the prompt I use to get ChatGPT to write me an amazing good travel itinerary for Vermont(I’ve never been; just asked ChatGPT to do the work for me)

Takeaway:

How would you feel if someone sent you a short blurb like this with suggestions? Most likely, it's really good, right? So why should your customers feel any different?

A few things to note:

1) It's easy to forget that a "customer" or a "account" represents a real person with thoughts and feelings.

2) I'm not going to copy the whole blurb from ChatGPT. I'll choose a few places, put a link to the website, and email it. It only takes a minute, but people are likely to remember it for a very long time.

3) Customers will be happy if you do two things: 1) solve their problems and 2) occasionally surprise them.

🛠 Tool + Resource

This might be extremely beneficial for someone / some businesses that a large book of business or customer base. Imagine just being able to type, “I want to nudge customers to upgrade their plan when they get close to hitting monthly limits” and seeing that automation come to life. 🙂
