✏️ Brain Booster

Replace leaders with Customer Success Managers and it makes a ton of sense.

Extraordinary customer success managers need 3 skills:

Synthesis - Can you spot what matters?
Selling - Can you compel others to care?

🤓 Post-Sale Breakdown

Who would you hire if you were Gagan?

Kris or Mansi?

Gagan founded Udemy. He’s now the CEO of Maven. CEOs think just like him.

If you were Gagan and asked a candidate, "How do you use AI in your current role?"

Who would you hire based on their response:

Takeaway:

Be more like Mansi and less like Kris. In the hustle of being a CSM or in a customer-facing position, it's common to lose track of time. Living life in quarters, setting goals for Q2 and Q3. But don't forget to allocate time for personal growth and pursuing activities that nourish your soul, fostering a sense of development. “You have to be constantly reinventing yourself and investing in the future.” Reid Hoffman (former founder of LinkedIn)

🛠 Tool + Resource

I was a huge procrastinator.

Last-minute follow-up emails. Getting distracted by Slack notifications. Never being able to focus on a single task.

Getting shit done was hard until I started using the Pomodoro technique.

Here’s how it works and the tool I use:

Pomofocus is a timer that I use once my customer meetings for the day are finished. I'll turn off Slack, put my phone aside, and work uninterrupted until the timer goes off. I'm usually shocked at how quickly I can get things done if I'm completely concentrated for an hour or two.

And whenever you're ready, there are 2 ways I can help you:

  1. Keep an eye out for our soon-to-be-released database of hundreds of ChatGPT prompts and templates you can use to work smarter with ChatGPT and future-proof your skills. It's affordable and expensable with your learning and development budget. Prepare to succeed as a CSM without the stress or worry by crushing your workday with ease! Basically, if you are tired of being seen as your customer's personal assistant and eager to lead while working less, this database is for you. [Coming Soon - Stay Tuned]
